These clouds came ripping through the sky at the end of sunset. They seemed to be bringing the night.
The light changes so quickly that you get these great combinations of clouds in shadow and sunset colors.
We have seen this kind of cloud formation after large storms.
These great shapes weren’t there 10 minutes before or after taking this photo. The constant flux of the clouds is inspirational.
I’ve been in love with these awesome flowers for decades; I first saw them at Longwood Gardens in PA and now see them regularly here in FL.
These palm tops are surprisingly large. This one is probably 10 feet across, and houses a family of squirrels.
This shot is from Hawk Mountain in eastern PA. The afternoon was cool and overcast with the scent of fallen leaves.
When I showed this to my sister-in-law, she said that it was taken the day she met her husband, and she would always love it. Thanks Amy!
This photo was taken at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. The bird was in a mudflat and I really did not like the background. My solution was to find a photo of Ireland from space and repurpose it with the help of a couple of Photoshop filters.
