These great shapes weren’t there 10 minutes before or after taking this photo. The constant flux of the clouds is inspirational.
I’ve been in love with these awesome flowers for decades; I first saw them at Longwood Gardens in PA and now see them regularly here in FL.
This shot is from Hawk Mountain in eastern PA. The afternoon was cool and overcast with the scent of fallen leaves.
When I showed this to my sister-in-law, she said that it was taken the day she met her husband, and she would always love it. Thanks Amy!
This photo was taken at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. The bird was in a mudflat and I really did not like the background. My solution was to find a photo of Ireland from space and repurpose it with the help of a couple of Photoshop filters.
This title was suggested by just about everyone who saw it saying that they saw a dancing man. (The “purple” was my idea).
These are at once both comical and graceful, and exhibit more personality than many other orchids.
I like the abstract images in this photo. I let people guess what it is they are seeing.
